About Us

Silver Spire United Church came into existence on July 1, 2008, as an amalgamation of three former downtown St. Catharines churches: Memorial, St. Paul Street United and Welland Avenue. Our current membership is about 450 individuals. Average Sunday worship attendance is around 175 people.

At Silver Spire, prayer and contemplation are central to ministry, outreach to the downtown community is taken seriously, and excellent pastoral care for the congregation is one of our top priorities. If you are an open-hearted seeker, we invite you to come seek with us.
