Children and Youth
Sunday School
At Silver Spire, we consider the involvement of children and youth to be of central importance.
We are currently offering a nursery for children ages 3 and younger, and two Sunday School classes -- for JK to Grade 5, and for Grade 6 and up. Most classes are based on the Whole People of God curriculum.
On most Sundays, children start off sitting in church with their families. They are invited to the front for children's time, then leave for Sunday School with their teachers.
Music Program
Our church has a small junior choir.
High School Students
High school students play an important role at Silver Spire, participating in Sunday services as ushers, readers, actors, communion servers and musical soloists, writing for our newsletter, and serving on our church's Council. During the summer, students helped with our outdoor café on Sunday mornings.
