About Our Church

Silver Spire United Church came into existence on July 1, 2008, as an amalgamation of Memorial, Welland Avenue and St. Paul Street United Churches.

At Silver Spire, prayer and contemplation are central to ministry, outreach to the downtown community is taken seriously, and excellent pastoral care for the congregation is one of our top priorities. We are open to God's call, and are in the process of discerning what exactly God is calling us to be and to do as a church in downtown St. Catharines. If you are an open-hearted seeker, we invite you to come seek with us.

Morning Prayer
Join us from 9-10 a.m., Monday through Saturday, for a time of prayer and contemplation, followed by coffee and a light breakfast.
